A little about me.

I'm a professional wordsmith, grammar geek, content strategist and old-school journalist, eager to craft compelling messages in whatever form they may happen to be.

Though my first love will always be digital journalism and the hustle and bustle of a traditional newsroom, in 2019 I made the switch to UX, an exciting opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the financial field. I spent three years as the sole strategist for mortgage and have totaled almost five years within investing, becoming the first principal content designer in the company's history chosen to lead all content strategy efforts for their investment business.

My favorite part of UX, other than the writing itself and getting to lead others, is having the opportunity to hear real-time user feedback. I find it highly gratifying knowing we're making tangible differences in people's financial futures. Knowing how to provide relatable, on-brand copy coupled with a delightful design is such an integral part of that.

When I'm not solving UX problems or saving out-of-the-blue, shower-thought taglines to my Notes app, I'm most likely to be reading, taking a dance class or traveling.

Let's chat.
